Guess so, but should still be returnable.

I'm unable to cancel the jigsaw. It's saying I can cancel the entire order, but not the jigsaw alone. FAQs say that bundled items must be returned as a bundle. Anyone have any actual luck on this hack as of this deal?

I miss being a lefty. Track saws being right blade were great!

Now, with the loss of my left arm, I'm a righty... and there's no good left blade track saws. Just one PO 💩 from Kreg.

It seems a good left blade track saw will never exist. I try to explain to companies and people how the current track saws (with right side blade) are for lefties, but all I get back is "RaBbLe RaBbLe!!!" . They'll never know how good it could've been.

So enjoy the life of being a lefty!

Circular saws are not made for either right or left handed people.

Right or left handed people, blade right or blade left saws, there are advantages and disadvantages either way depending on how you use your saw. Including:
  • Sight lines (though cut-outs in blade guards are getting much better)
  • Where the chips/sawdust fly (somewhat negated if the saw has dust collection)
  • How you set up and hold your cuts (which side is the cut-off)
  • Where your hands and body are in relation to the blade
  • What you are accustomed to using
Some people have very strong feelings about which is best, but it is ultimately up to the individual user to choose which attributes are most important to them.

And if you want a wormdrive style rear handle saw, you only have one choice.

I use a Ryobi Brushless Circ saw with the blade on the left side for basic handy man stuff. Holding with my right, I can see the whole blade. I prefer this, especially when doing beveled cuts. Can you explain the benefits to using a right sided blade when cutting with right hand?

No such thing as a left handed or right handed saw. I've often wondered, are people not capable of using their other hand to make a cut if needed? Its not like someone is asking you to sign your name or something, its a simple task that should be able to be done with either hand pretty easily.

A rightie with a blade right saw doesn't get as covered in sawdust.

Depending on how you set up and hold the cut, keeps the larger part of the shoe (and weight of the motor) on the good piece rather than the potentially small offcut.

The blade is away from the user who is less likely to be in the path of a kickback.

Most people are right handed and most sidewinders have traditionally been right bladed, so that's what people are probably more accustomed to using.

Thanks!! All good points. The one about the weight distribution definitely come into play a lot. Personally I'd rather have sight of the blade and deal with the dust. Most units I see are on the right side so I guess lots of users would agree with you.

I have both the Ryobi brushless and now the Makita 36v circ saw. The difference is tremendous. The Makita just feels so smooth and controlled compared to everything else I've used. *Chef kiss
