HDMI 2.1 and eARC are very seldom found in anything below mid-tier. Manufacturers like using these as features to advertise to buyers.
Yes, that's exactly what happened.

I still bought 2x 55 inch JVC tvs for 250 each for my kids bedrooms though
You'll need 3 more (4 total) for that, if my math is mathing.

I don't know what am talking about.

The 55" was $250 last week. Bit on that. Working fine so far. I think people's concerns with these super cheap sets (Hisense, element, jvc, etc) is many have had them die inside of one year. I personally had 2 Hisense die, and the warranty process is so cumbersome (you pay to return ship, etc.) It's not worth it. So this time I bought the Walmart extended warranty. As a cheap auxilary set they seem worth the gamble, as a primary set not so much imo.

it's a great tv, black levels are not great but everything else ok.. a samsung q60 will give better color and blacks, but hey price..

no ghosting or bleeding around text, great viewing angles, frame looks cheap and is exactly like my old tcl, would recommend

Buy this with the Walmart 4 year warranty or the 50" tcl 4 series for about the same price? Tcl is $278 right now.

Think this will be a big upgrade from the 32" 720p panel in the bedroom!

I always remember JVC used to be a premium brand. Not so anymore?

Who cares about math? That's FOUR 55" TVs stacked up!
