I have exactly the EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 with this PSU. You do need to hookup up all 3 pcie cables, 2 won't work. I was concerned about this PSU only have 2 VGA PCIE ports as well originally. But it actually splits into 2 PCIE headers per PSU port so you get 4 PCIE headers in total. I confirmed with EVGA that they are not daisy chained but individual powered. Each header is capable of delivering 100w of power. Therefore, no issue with the 3 ports 3080 Ti card.
It's 100W less capacity but the cables are much nicer, the fan is PVM so it's quiet. I ran a 3080 ti with it for awhile and others have done so with a 3090 so the capacity itself isn't an issue for 99% of case scenarios.
With that said, I've used the lower wattage EVGA GM PSUs, no issues with them.
