Good price for the RP-8000F. Great upgrade for anyone moving up from the standard Reference series. I highly doubt we'll ever see the $800/pair pricing we saw back in spring 2021.

Many of us bought the RP-280FA last year for $700 a pair. To us this is not a deal

The 8000F is slightly improved version of the 280FA without the top firing module.

Adorama is currently selling the 5 speaker kit based on RP-280FA for $1400. If someone has the time and energy to sell the center (RP-504C) and surrounds (RP-600M), you are left with the towers for less than $700.
