IMO a lot of the value in carbon fiber cycling is in the quality control associated with creating the bike. I've tried no name CF forks and handlebars with mixed results. The problem is that often when CF fails, it fails catastrophically. Buyer beware for an item like this…

Cheap carbon fiber in a structural role is analogous to cheap parachutes.
The benefit to carbon fiber is generally weight, but they make another bike that is not carbon fiber that is the same weight and is the same specs otherwise, and it is a few hundred cheaper. So this, while a good deal on a carbon fiber bike, is not necessarily a good deal for an ebike, since it doesn't offer anything except a higher chance of failure compared to an aluminum or steel frame bike.

That's weird that their carbon fiber version doesn't have any weight reduction. Who knows...

Thanks for your comment, I thought about buying a no-name CF fork from Amazon for like 60 bucks and replace my suspension fork to reduce the weight
Also thought about buying a disc brake kit but just found out my wheels doesn't have the hub I should probably just buy a new bike at this point

Maybe not quite *that* grave, but close.
