You definitely want to wait for the lithium ion model that will be released soon. This model with the lead acid batteries still disappoint you the following year with the battery degrading.

Yeah I'm aware of that one. I expect that to be a lot more than this version. Additionally the batteries on this aren't proprietary but regular 12v golf cart batteries. By the time they need replacing, LiFePO4 batteries will likely be even cheaper than they are now and give very long life.
