I've got a full blown 5.2 setup but wanted a cheap bar just for casual use when I wasn't running the entire system. Picked up this Onn a few days ago and it wasn't much better than the LG's internal speakers so it ended up back at the store. Found a left over Polk Signa 2 for $80.00 while I was returning the Onn and it's a million times better.

Just noticed that there are two different 36" Onn soundbars. I got the one in the link and it was a piece of junk. There's a different one on clearance for $28.80 that's actually half way decent.

The Walmart near me had 5 different Onn soundbars on clearance (they all come in blue boxes). 2 of them were smaller than the one in the OP, and the other 2 had subs with 1 of them with 2 surround speakers.

I picked one up to use as an under cabinet kitchen speaker. We cook alot and love having music in the kitchen. It has a full enough sound, enough bass to be an upgrade over the smaller under cabinet systems. Plenty loud enough for my use but at only 60 watts it wouldn't really serve as a theater soundbar.

I tested one of these, and returned it. Lol it is going to be louder than most built-in TV speakers, but the sound is somewhat muddy, and there's hardly any bass. For me, it was a no, but if you've got kids or you just need some kind of sound, then you can't go wrong with the price.
