For quality surge protection, dont be cheap in this. Get Belkin, APC or Anker brands. These cheap Chinese knockoffs are going to fail when you need it most.

Cheap and knockoffs is the relevant part here. And yes, this one is junk. 600V clamping and 10ms, yes MILIsecond not nanosecond, response time. i don't even need to read further to give this a thumbs down.
