I bought this at $1000. Wish I waited or went with a 38" monitor. Screen is bright and it's been good up to this point. Refresh rate at 4k is awesome . Only issue is the screen goes on and off when you play video content like Netflix or Hulu, it's weird... At this price it's worth buying.

Does the screen go black for about 2 or 3 seconds? I see that every 3 or 4 days with my TCL 43" 4K TV I'm using as a monitor. My video card is a low-end MSI GeForce GT 1030 2GB so I wonder if that's the issue.

Potentially you are exceeding the bandwidth of the HDMI/display port cable and may need a better quality and/or shorter cable.

Possibly but I got a 6ft display port 1.4 cable, tried a few different ones. I spent $30 on a cable that was recommended from Level1tech YouTube creator and another from monoprice.
It only happens when I load up a 4k video and only for 3 seconds. Never happens when I'm gaming.

Maybe but it's only 3 seconds too. It's irritating but livable. Still a great monitor for the size. But I gotta find a way to mount it and move back a foot or so.

same problem, sometimes it does it multiple times back to back.
