Thinking of jumping on this but don't really need the GPU. Too bad it's an F processor (no integrated graphics), but I have a GT 1030 laying around. What can I expect to get for a pulled RTX 3070 via OfferUp / Craigslist? Under $500?

only reason to buy it is for the GPU lol, else I would just go with custom builds , the motherboard and pSU isn't good either.

Technically even buying just for the GPU may not be a great deal any more with prices dropping. If the rest of the system isn't worthwhile then that might be reason to pause.
This seems like a solid deal. I'm looking for a gaming pc. Any reason to pass this up?
This Asus and this Skytech both have outdated CPUs (the Skytech a little more) but not enough to impact gaming so if you wanted something with better cooling and save yourself $250: https://www.newegg.com/skytech-st..._-05162022

From what I'm seeing locally here in Oregon about $550. Newegg has the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 V2 OC for $660 right now. Considering this case is basically garbage. The PSU is decent (from youtube vids Great Wall is an OEM maker of Corsair PSUs and is decent). The mobo is going to be an okay Asus. The 'F' processor just means you don't have intel graphics.
I dunno... Throw it in a good case and you probably have a nice prebuilt. But parting out and selling the GPU or vice-versa only keeping the GPU doesn't make sense here.
Price is decent but computer is the one that has bad cooling.
Price is decent for sure, but much better than the other pre-made builds from before with only 3060s and about the same prices plus this one has 2.5 tb of storage space and 3070

Exactly. This is a decent deal but not amazing, 3070s are only gonna get cheaper and even cheaper still once the 4000s come out.
To make this build amazing just add more RAM and diy some fans into this thing and then it'd be a true beast - $150 or so.

Now, that wouldn't make sense in terms of effort. I was thinking of getting an open box one, selling the GPU and ending up with an under-$700 i7 PC.
