DEAD Flex 24v 6 Tool Kit at Lowes will be $399 when $150 Buy More Save More goes live

Edit: The opportunity passed. They've bumped the price of the combo set up by $100 in preparation of the sale.

Not exactly sure how to post the picture I took at Lowes, but they are going to have a Flex Buy More Save More Sale from 5/19/22 to 7/6/22, with discounts of $150 off $500, $80 off $400, and $30 off $300 spent in "ALL FLEX 24V Products". This $150 off deal will be particularly good on the 6 Tool Kit that was reduced to $549 late last year, giving you a solid Impact Driver, Hammerdrill, Recip Saw, Circular Saw, Oscillating Tool, Worklight, 2 Batteries, and Case for $399. I'll paste specs below. I personally haven't bought into the Flex line cause I'm deep into all the other vendors, but this sort of price makes the line very attractive, as they do have insane power. In fact, the biggest gripe I've read is some people find them to be too powerful, which I can totally appreciate for more controlled work. Their oscillating tool uses Starlock too, which is a love it or hate it (most elegant blade locking solution, but not as universally supported by cheap blade makers are the other solutions; personally I love it and wouldn't go back - the Bosch blades are made in Switzerland and last me much longer than my old throwaways).

Specs:
THE FLEX ADVANTAGE - 20% more power with 24V lithium, 25% longer runtime with THERMA-TECH™ heat management, up to 50% faster charging with high-power, dual fan chargers
SENSOR-FREE BRUSHLESS MOTOR - Every FLEX 24V tool is built around an intelligent digital brushless motor designed to eliminate friction and optimized for higher efficiency and power
FLEX 24V POWER - 6 Tools, 2 Batteries, 1 Charger
FX1251 - 1/2-IN. 2-SPEED HAMMER DRILL - 750 in-lbs of compact power - 35,200 IPM
FX1351 - 1/4-IN. HEX IMPACT DRIVER - 1,800 in-lbs of torque and 3,400 RPM
FX2141 - 7-1/4-IN. CIRCULAR SAW - Powerful 2-9/16-in. depth of cut - 5,800 RPM
FX4111 - OSCILLATING MULTI-TOOL - 20,000 OPM for a high speed of cut and vibration suppression
FX2271 - RECIPROCATING SAW - Orbital and Linear Mode at 1-1/4-in. SPM - 4000RPM
FX5111- WORK LIGHT - 300 lm for high illumination

Note that they might be planning on bumping the price of this kit when the sale goes live. The site is now showing "low stock" and marked the $549 price as "reduced" instead of the "new low price" that it had been. If you are seriously interested in taking advantage of the deal, I would purchase it in store now and have them apply the discount when it goes live in 3 days. There are plenty of these at all my nearby stores.

I'm not interested but I'm pretty sure I read that flex is offering lifetime warranty on purchases through Dec 2022.

I never used a sawzall with orbital action. Can anyone share your experience? Thank you friends!

Great for demo and thick branches. I use it on my Super Sawzall when I'm pruning with it. It's a very aggressive cutting action.

Yeah, this is correct they had the info posted by the tools. This "Founder's" offer was going to expire at the end of 2021, but I guess they figured it was worth keeping around to try to increase adoption.

I wish they would just comit to the lifetime warranty forever like a Ridgid LSA. That would put lowes in a good competitive situation with home depot's tool line up I feel. Hopefully the tool line keeps growing and they would have a successful line with lifetime warranty and new tool line up coming out.

Agreed. I think at the moment it's more of a sales pitch, but I suspect they will eventually adopt a lifetime policy. I'm honestly surprised this deal hasn't gained any traction cause this stuff is seriously nice and the price can't be beat for what you get. If I didn't have a full load out of Milwaukee, Dewalt, and Bosch I woulda jumped on the kit and returned for the buy more get more the day it drops (tomorrow). Edit: guess I was right about my suspicions of the price increasing - just checked and they bumped it back to $649.
