When covid started I had some old n95 masks and rubber straps had become brittle. I got some elastic strap https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0876CP1R4/ for example and just restapled them. Later on when n95 became available if mask was uncomfortable because strap was too short I just replaced it. Once you get strap the right length for your head just keep reusing it. I did not even bother with original straps sometimes and on some masks I only had to replace one. These would be easier since they have one strap like the handystrap on moldex masks. Just tie end in a knot.

Great price for good quality headband style N95 masks. If you look at the bad reviews on Walmart, they are laughable. Worth a try for only five bucks (25 cents each). Thanks OP.
Yeah 100% of the reviews are "incentivized" and you can tell ("The Niosh approved N95 disposable face mask is so nice. I really like that it has a universal fit. The fit is so nice. It is very comfortable as well.")
But it's a legit CDC approved NIOSH tested mask at a great price. I do like the "adjustable" design where the headband is a single looped piece of elastic and there is some separation from the two points on the sides where it connects to the mask. Looks like it might be good quality but tight-fitting.

Wonder why they have so many "incentivized reviews" on this mask. I'd pick some up, but I've already fit tested a different model, so I'll stick with that. Hard to beat the price per mask, though.
Masks have expiration date? Doesn't make sense to me. Am I missing something?
From Business Insider:
"N95 masks really don't expire in terms of their functionality. The only part that is subject to damage over time are the elastic bands that attach the mask to the user's face, which can be damaged by sunlight," Dr. John Balmes, professor of environmental health science at Berkeley Public Health, told Business Insider in an email.
According to the guidelines, users should manually check expired masks for any visible damage to the straps, nose piece or other pieces, and check the seal. If any problems are found, the respirator should be thrown away. If not, the mask can offer some protection, but should only be used in emergencies.
I'm always worried masks on sale might be close to expiration date as the strap material does age

I bought 6 boxes of these the other day plus another item to get the free shipping and they got delivered today. To me, they're worth the $5.00. The cup shape is pretty firm and the elastic band is decent. The material is not flimsy and I doubt it would flex in and out much as you breathe. I figured if they were bad quality, I would return them. But they're good for me, so I'm keeping them. I didn't buy them for COVID. I bought them for sanding drywall and for sawdust and for cutting the grass when I kick up dust and debris.
