wamart + trial users - be aware, non delivery order triggered a monthly charge for walmart+ after cancelling our trial $12.95

For anyone who may have done a trial and assumed that walmart would actually accept your cancellation and the lack of a payment method on file as you didn't want to continue, make sure you check your account.
We placed a walmart order for pickup (and put in a payment method there), I failed to notice that they charged us for walmart + (despite not having a payment method in the walmart+ section of our account).
They have sent us monthly emails asking us if we want to enroll since our trial had expired. which we have ignored, but apparently placing a non- delivery order triggered them charging us for walmart +.
I reached out to chat support and they offered to cancel our walmart+ but refused to refund us the $ they just charged us for a month - told me it was outside the refund period (they charged us on may 11).
I'll take it up with my credit card company, but wanted to make others aware.

walmart did open an internal ticket to figure out why i was being charged for a subscription i never agreed to continue - she thought it might have been in error since we had placed a pick up order that put a payment method on file in our overall account (but not specific to walmart+ subscription)
so lesson learned - if you are getting an email titled
"Update your Walmart+ payment method" - do not assume they are not charging you...
