It's also available through eBay Acer Store with 2-Year eBay Warranty - Link https://www.ebay.com/itm/265291507285. The price is $193 after the 12% coupon, which is automatically applied during checkout. I personally ordered one from Best Buy to test it out.
The CPU performance compares to Qualcomm 7c Gen 1/2. Based on my extensive research, you should be able to squeeze about 10 hours of battery life on it or less. About the memory, which is only 4GB. In my personal Chromebook usage for the past 5-6 years, I have never seen Chrome OS utilize more than 1-2 GB of RAM with 5-10 open tabs. A quick note, Google Play Store alone consumes about 500-700Mb of RAM. I never use Google Play Store apps on my Chromebooks. The first thing I do is to remove the Google Play Store. Web apps are more than enough, again this is the personal habit of using Chrome OS. But is it good to have more RAM? Of course, what's good about Chrome os or any Linux device is that any extra RAM is used as a buffer and this alone improves the experience, performance, and battery life. I think this Chromebook is a great value!

It's refurbished on ebay though and you're not getting manufacturer's warranty.
Too dim for me but I think you're way off. A lot of these lower end laptops aren't IPS and have more like 220 nits brightness. For some reason most value backlit keyboard moreso than screen quality and brightness.
Anyone know if this has a backlit keyboard? No mentioning of such on their product page.
Yes, mine was delivered a few days ago. I got mine from Best Buy, the same model. But I don't like the touchpad, it feels too slow in comparison to other laptops and chromebooks, not responsive enough for my taste. Another observation, the performance was average and it scores about 19k on octane 2. I was kind of expecting Kompanio 828 or Snapdragon 7C Gen 2 performance.
