These are really great when they work. The problem is that for many people, they eventually go to shit because of forced firmware auto update that you cannot disable no matter what you try to do. You will have no idea what causes problems to your mesh one day because you have absolutely no control in the firmware. Mine just decided one day that one of the satellite is just going to stay disconnected for some reason, and refuses to sync back with the router. Went through all factory resets and all kinds of troubleshooting, and now both satellites just won't sync. lmao. Also their CS is a complete joke and worthless, literally just gonna tell you to do the same exact thing with factory resetting, and escalate the problem to tier 2 or some shit but still offers no real solution. Thanks Netgear. Going to return these garbage to Costco.

So yeah. Great potential of a great product, but completely ruined by Netgear for being complete f**king idiots.

Get the older RBK50 system that's much cheaper. I tested that against this and there's no difference. Save your money.

i mean... what exactly did you test? 10gb local transfers? internet download speed? network traffic management with 100 smart devices? Uptime?
