I've had my eye on these. They review very well and have a premium build quality and aesthetic, which is why Kanto is usually a bit pricier than similar options. I currently have Micca PB42x speakers for my desk, a similarly-sized powered speaker that just amazes me continually with the detail I hear in my music. So I recommend those highly if you're hoping to spend something closer to $100. I haven't compared them directly to these, though.

Yes! These will also probably sound better than most similarly priced sound bars, but won't have any "multichannel" functionality.
Most TVs have an optical audio output and these speakers have an optical input. It will give better sound quality than bluetooth, have no lag, and is more reliable.
Optical yes. Thank you
