I don't see any use in my daily life!
My apartment rent needs 2.5% as extra fees if to be paid with credit card. So a loss here.
University fees can be paid at 0% with credit card, but for 2% i can't risk accumulating money into those virtual cards.
Daily shopping too can't risk on virtual cards, as already easily getting 1% minimum on these.
So use it wisely if profitable.

I use my DoubleCash card to purchase these; so $195.95 earns me $3.91, which nets the card at $192.04, which is effectively 4%, which is better than most cash back cards.

Better with the Staples deal, if you have the card, and a staples nearby
so this is not even a deal
it used to be a deal last year when it started for 10% later they made it 5%
yep when they started first it was 10%
