You can do the deal on the verizon website or the my verizon app - but I went to best buy and they gave me $250 EXTRA towards the $800 to be paid.
So once I send in my S10+ with a cracked screen (after I transfer all the stuff off it), I will get 36 months of $22 bill credits, ultimately paying me $7 / month for 36 months. Insane.
You do need to be on one of the unlimited plans and have a qualifying phone without battery damage.

Also they'll want taxes and upgrade fee up front.
The nice thing is they'll take anything from a Galaxy S9 up and give you $800 for it, which seems nuts. Also considering inflation is going wild, locking in interest free deferred payments right now is a good idea. Your phone will feel like it's free when/if the MSRPs jump 33% on next year's phones.
