3:2 screen ratio is great for web work. Also, the screen is REALLY good, bright (~400 nits), 100% sRGB, and a low black level. And no IPS glow on mine - I don't know if they are all like that. I do have to say being through a multitude of new laptops over the past year since I started hanging around SD laptops, this is rarer than it should be.

Also note - the one in the review was purchased from the same eBay seller refurbished and it arrived with stickers and looking new. The biggest negative is the charging brick is annoyingly large.

my unit was a well-used, good conditions with plenty of wear and tear.
touch-pad feels funny, other than that its a great machine. screen is beatiful.
in the end, decided to return it and got the windows version
Anyway, this is a good deal on a more premium chromebook: great screen, plenty of RAM and storage (compared to other cromebooks), good processor. Updates until June 2029. Mediocre battery life and speakers

These aren't even refurbished. The one I got only had 5 battery charge cycles. Tbh I think these are customer returns. The seller also marks them as recertified instead of refurbished.
It took me over a day before I noticed anything even considered a minor imperfection and I gave it a really thorough look through right after I unpackaged it before I even noticed any cosmetic details that would distinguish it from a brand new unit.

It also still has the plastic protection strips over the logo and hinges.

Same thing for me.
1. How is the battery life?
2. Does the fan actually kick in every minute? How often does it actually kick on?
3. How's the build quality? The 315 is built surprisingly well.
