REAL FIRE PIT HEAT: Use only on brick, concrete, stone, or other masonry surfaces. Do not use on lawns, wooden decks, artificial wood or asphalt. Keep the outdoor fire pit a minimum of 10 ft. away from buildings, structures, any flammable items, and vehicles.
There's nothing "clean" about this product. It's just a marketing lie, like "clean coal".
I never knew that anyone could hate outdoor fire pits so much

The takeaway from your comment is that environmentalism, in general, is absolute bs, as they love to attack cars and driving but never once heard bill gates or Leo DiCaprio cry about people using a fireplace or pit.
While I don't completely disagree with your main point, the reasoning is flawed. They focus on cars because that is the bigger cause of pollution. It would be like complaining that people are too focused on gun violence and nobody cares about crossbow violence
I know someone killed by a crossbow, can confirm crossbow violence sucks.
