I had been eyeing the SB8200 and set a CCC waiting for the price to drop. This the lowest recorded price in the last 6 months.

I know its more expensive but also for overheating purposes I got the much larger housing of the Moto 8611. There is an Arris model with the exact same specs - the S33 but it its encased in a much smaller box and also had reported overheating issues. Been running the 8611 for well over a year or so now without issues.

I got the CM1100 for $117 a few days ago on Amazon. Excellent modem and pairs well with the Nighthawk routers on Xfinity.
Last week I purchased the Arris SB8200 at $154 for my sister and it's working well so far on Xfinity. At this price, it's a nice deal.
