Hose supplied is short. I have purchased 3 of these same shower heads. The longer hoses sold on amazon fit and function just fine. I have not had any problems with non Moen hoses.

fyi the chrome goes for 65$….that's probably the real regular price. Not saying this isn't a good deal, but just to put in perspective to those who might think they're actually saving $90.
