Great bike and I've used it extensively. I'm 6 foot and 185 pounds and I stand for about 5 of the 20 mile rides that I do and the bike is steady and sturdy and even the electronics seem to be very accurate. I just use the many outdoor bike workouts on YT and have put over 2,000 miles on this bike so far.

Never used an exercise bike but interested in getting one. I noticed in the pictures they lean forward quite a bit and i have back pain. Is is typical to lean forward that much with other bikes too? Not sure i can ride an hour hunched over. I read recumbent bikes dont give same level as workout.

talk to your doctor. taking exercise/health advice from randos on the internet isn't a great idea.
