Reviews are all over the place, most poor ones seem like the people don't know how to cook to begin with, so their review is pointless. Good reviews seem to be from people who have only owned the pan for a couple weeks or so, which again, makes them pointless.
Beyond all of that though, a $1.50 off reg price is not an SD, or really any deal for any unknown and or untested cookware.
As I've mentioned in the past, I have 30+ years experience cooking...if you are someone who just needs a couple pans to cook an occasional meal, these are probably just fine. Everyday cooks would probably do well to pass on these however, there are much better options out there, though maybe not as cheap, but known for their quality and longevity.
I'd put these (at this point in their life) in the better safe than sorry catagory and pass.
It really depends on your budget though. Cast Iron is a must for extreme heat cooking. But Stainless Steel and Carbon are great too.
Brands I like are All-Clad, Made In, Calphalon, Lodge and Tramontina. There are other options, but you're talking high price range that no average home chef needs. Mauviel, Matfer Bourgeat, Fissler and Viking. All great brands and high quality.
If cooking is a passion however, stop looking for a deal and buy the best you can afford, test cookware you're interested in and move to whatever you like the most.
I started with handed down Farberware, bought a few now discountinued Calphalon pieces, tried and liked All-Clad and Viking (too pricy for me) and now use a combination of my old Calphalon set and All-Clads.

I am not knocking anyone who buys from them, if you can get a great price on a great product from a place you trust, by all means, do it. It's just me, I'm weird.
I like to do as much research as I can when buying cookware, I go to Alibaba often when researching to see if something I'm considering is being mass produced that can be purchased by any company to sell.
