Sorry, I'm a little late to the discussion. Never fear, the bike-snob is here!
1. No bike that costs less than five figures is worth riding. You're better off walking.
2. You should spend the next year learning about bicycle parts, then get a used bike, buy new parts and install them on the old frame. That's the only way to get a 'real' bike.
3. I am too poor to afford a Porsche, so I'll use my expensive bike to compensate for my small Di¢k.
4. Hey, I bought some fancy bike shorts to make normal people throw up when I enter a coffee shop in full gear. Oh, and it cost more than your shorts because I needed some extra stuffing in the crotch.
Boost spacing, 1x drive train with clutch. Can fit up to 27.5x2.8 tires. Also better geometry 74 degree seat tube angle and 64 degree head tube angle - these are modern numbers
whoa 3 pages in comments and no bike snobs talking about buying a used name brand bike instead? have the times changed that people finally realize that dept store bikes are decent enough for most people, or did dept store bikes get good enough for bike snobs?
