I personally don't recommend this wheel for $300, as it's still a hybrid gear/belt wheel.
If you're tight on the budget, get a TMX/T150 ($229), but if you can stretch a bit buy the T300 from Dell ($350) which is belt driven and a leap forward in smoothness and immersion.

Just my 2 cents.

The Slickdeals from 4/11 was better as it was $300 outright and you get Gran Turismo 7 included - so the wheel was effectively $230. I passed up because I already have Gran Turismo and from watching Youtube videos, it seems like this wheel's MSRP is overpriced to begin with when comparing it against Logitech's offering. The plastic "clanky" sound from the paddle shifters would drive me nuts, and Logitech's wheels have manmade leather all around the steering wheel (instead of hard plastic like the T248).
