It is rechargeable, but said batteries not included….. could not find straight description, that was consistent with all options. I was looking for just some junk drawer back ups, but inconsistent description has me passing.

In the product details "These LED Tactical flashlights are powered by 3 AAA batteries - BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED". This was confirmed by looking through the Q&A and reviews. Definitely not rechargeable.

Looks like a bad description. The listing does have a rechargeable light (second option) but it's just one for about $7.50 after discount.
Looks like a decent deal for the actual rechargeable model.

Edit: "lumens" is just marketing; not bright as they advertise

I have a few of these flashlights, and I can attest that they're excellent for the occasional use. Very bright and also can be focused for distance. I just got the 4 pack to have then through out the house and in the cars.

I like rechargeable for the one I use daily, otherwise I burn a battery every couple days. Seems like a waste to me otherwise. I changed over when I started a batter bucket for my used ones. It got full pretty fast. I rarely lose power at my house. I use my lights for functional use not emergencies.
