I see RSIM being mentioned as a trick but it says CDMA sims don't work. I thought Visible SIMs are GSM on the iphone....

Terrible customer service, even with elevating to Verizon's support team.

Currently there is no way to unlock eSIM without the official unlock. The soft unlocks using all the different types of rsim only apply to physical sim slot.

YMMV, but this is the worst cell phone customer service experience.
This usually happens if you didn't activate the phone using the SIM that came packed with it in the same box. The 60 day unlock clock starts after you properly activate the new phone using that new sim and get you account fully set up.
