wow this is a nice deal espec w/ the 3060ti.
If you don't mind all the limitations you'll get with a prebuilt like a limited PL2 power budget and slower 1.2v ram.

HP only has basic motherboard on budget PC like this that doesn't have onboard video ports. You might need to keep it on....LOL

I can't imagine that is right, as I would imagine they would rather mass produce one motherboard to use in both computers with and without dedicated graphics cards.

your looking at the 3070 price, if u downgrade it to a 3060 Ti, only comes to be $40 more(using code 10MDSHP). You get much better case(more customization options) motherboard, and much better power supply(800w vs 500w). I actually just bought it.

Is 350W psu really sufficient for this thing? Even upgrade to 500W might not be enough for the 3060/3060ti.
Might not be a good deal if all other components are cheapest picks.
RAM and SSD not worth upgrade, 2*8 gb you can buy it at < $80 for sure, and easy upgrade.
SSD you can buy 1TB samsung < $100, also easy upgrade.

Victus, like their Pavilion and Envy series, uses proprietary motherboard, psu, case connections, heat sink mount, etc.

The Omen desktops at least use standard form factor components so they're replaceable and upgradeable.

Economy is slowing down fast. Prices will get viciously cheap. The FOMO out of the covid is ending and so now sellers will have to do everything to get consumers to buy with too much inventory.
