There's 2 for $10 for a well known brand on eBay. Not anker brand tho. And the ones on eBay are more compact too.

Depends on the phone and it depends on the laptop. I see some that are 30,45.90 watt and higher. It depends on the battery and how it's designed to charge. Laptop batteries are much larger than phone batteries. They will draw more power at a higher rate. It's not a one size fits all equation. You'll get longer life out of the charger and the battery if you buy the proper charger.

This charger is discounted because it's getting to be an older style. It's a good spare charger to have around for an android phone. New phones will come with newer style compatible chargers also.
