Seems to be .10 strings for electric and .12 for acoustic based off the product faq section.

Amazon strike through price is $6.50, save 11%. Honey shows highest price was $13.24 four months ago and dropping steadily since then.

Considering that the guitar mount alone is usually a few bucks, as are the other items, seems like a pretty decent deal. Grabbed a set for my dad. Thanks! Smilie

A bit unsure if I can trust my $2k guitar into this $5 wall mount ...
After looking a bit more into this company decided to grab a few packs anyway.
Locking mechanism is very promising on that hanger.

Wall mount looks sturdy enough. Just make sure you go into a stud. Drywall anchors should never be trusted.

Would definitely toss the strings though...

I'm somewhat a beginner and need some new strings. Is this not worth it for the strings?
I was thinking this is like buying new strings and getting some extra stuff free with it. I don't need the wall mount.

The capo and guitar mount makes it more than worth it. Strings are a total mystery. Depending on what gauge and type of string you choose will totally change the way a guitar feels and sounds. But if your a beginner and you don't know any better this is a really good starting point.

I just commented and just saw your post. I can't speak for the strings but what I will say is, depending on the gauge of string and the type of string, will totally change the sound and feel of the guitar. I personally recommend trying different strings till you find something you like. You want something more bright or warm sounding? Go on YouTube to learn what that stuff means. Different strings work great with different styles of music. Some people want a lot of extra tone and go with a certain type and others want a little more bright crisp but light sounding strings to not make it too overwhelming for their style they are playing.

That's why I recommend learning about different types of strings and then you will feel a lot more confident when you choose strings in certain categories about what to expect.
