idk if this is the place to ask this, buuut does anyone know if zwilling retail stores offer any maintenance services for their knives? like sharpening? one just opened near me but i haven't had a chance to check it out yet, and i couldn't find anything on their website
You're both right. Now can people please post links to the best deals in this sale?
Looks like most of the better items and better deals are gone. The 7" Nikiri sold out on my return to the site, and the 7qt black oval sold out while I was checking out. I had to go with the 8.5qt oval for $50 more.
I've been a member of this site for a very long time, and gone down many, many rabbit holes reading two strangers argue with each other about trivial nonsense, but this thread right here takes the cake. Kudos to you both.. One dude is obviously just trolling, and the other literally claimed that his children are better people because he bought (sort of) expensive knives before they were even born...and went into DETAIL about it. Just...wow.
I bought the kitchen shears for 30 bucks last time. I quite like it . The paint does chip off when opening bottles with them. It's currently out of stock. 30 dollars does seem pricey for scissors though but it does feel quality. Last time this deal came up (about a month a go) things do eventually get back in stock.
I bought the gourmet chinese cleaver too. It's a meh for me. I think the blade is too thick or the geometry is not good which makes it hard to slice with. A chinese cleaver is supposed to slice. It's very shiny though.
I bought a 4qt oven during their last sale. Beautiful and high quality. That said, they take the cake for the worst customer service I've ever encountered. They seem to take the approach of ignoring emails and hoping people give up.

How was the condition of your Dutch oven? I have a 4qt I bought a few years ago on amazon for $99. Now I'm thinking of buying the 7qt Dutch oven but wondering about the so called blemishes.
