Just got this as I missed it the last time it was posted. Great deal on one of Hoover's top of the line model carpet cleaners.
And these are factory blems, NOT used or refurbished. They're brand new units with a full warranty, but with some minor cosmetic imperfections from the factory.
At only $73.00 + tax, this is a great deal (and $3.00 less than the previous deal). This same exact model is sold in stores right now @Target for $269.00.
We are on our third Hoover steam mop. The previous two are similar to this design and tend to last two-three years with bi-weekly use. The first one failed after developing a leak around the heater. The second failed where the plastic handle meets the metal shaft. The plastic is just too brittle for the force used over time.
And still I bought a third! Not only is the price right, but I tried a Shark steam mop and it never got hot enough. Plus, the Hoover has the pop off bottom that can be used to scrub caked on food/dirt and does a solid job scrubbing and steaming my shower floor.
Carpet like that needs to be replaced before you move in. The odors are down into the pads by now, maybe even the floor boards. A steam cleaner is not going to help you.

Are any of these recommended to buy for use in cleaning car interiors? I was planning on renting a steam cleaner, but if one of these would work that would make more sense.
All the FH models look to be the same. I looked up their model numbers and they all seem to point to the same product on the Hoover website. Although, it does appear that they don't come with all of the tools/attachments?
Any of those handheld models can be used to clean car interiors/upholstery. I've got a similar Bissel version that I use for in-car cleaning and spot clean-up in the house.

PowerDash Go probably.
Note this is just for carpets. Steam cleaner would still be good for rubber matts and stuff.
I'd be all over this, but I'm already going to have to wait a month for my Ryobi vac. I don't want to pay for super extra slow shipping twice.

Did you use the steam mops for cleaning pet related mess? I've been looking for a better way to remove the pet smell left on the carpets by the 2 large labs the previous owner of our house.
What's the difference in the power dash's there's 4 I got the one that said it came with the most stuff but I kinda thought I should get the one with the plus in the title. I don't know I always buy something then want something else.

This is a bigger one for $40. I think I bought this one a few years ago and it worked well.
