Hello, I just found a deal with the Samsung Galaxy A53 for $99 through Boostmobile with a catch, you'd have to buy the $50 unlimited plan as well.

I'm not sure if you can purchase a cheaper plan separately but I did check with a customer service agent in the Boost Community Forums, and they stated you couldn't. I've heard of some others on this forum that you could with no issues so who knows.

I'm looking to buy this phone just waiting for a good deal, the Amazon deal is a good one but will wait just a bit longer.

Yup, it's a year locked in. Unless you're looking for an unlimited plan, this may not be the deal for you. Amazon has a 2-4 week wait on the A53, hoping for a deal for memorial day. With the Pixel 6a coming up, I'm not paying $449 for the A53.

This deal seems really great though. No port required, and it doesn't state anywhere that I can't change to cheaper plan later like 2nd month onwards.

don't touch boost mobile, I placed one order on 4/22, didn't get it until Mar 10th, called to cancel and refund, chaotic customer service, still didn't get refund as of today. A whole year service of $170 !!!
