$174.99 at Target and extra 5% off with RedCard - $166.24 final price

Thats a personal opinion. Which fit better is the most important things. And out the box galaxy has boosted bass, but can be corrected... most people like the artificially enhanced bass at first though...

noise cancellation for meetings and calls is better on the airpod pros though and apple integration... but that's not the main factor unless you are using it for meetings all day.

Rumors are late this year?

FWIW, they're awesome. Don't wait. Buy them and love them.

There have been rumors of new Pros in 2020 and 2021 as well (for those wondering haha). While I do believe that the new ones will be coming out this year, these are still great buds and the new ones will be at minimum $250 for a while after they release.

Just bought these and man am I disappointed. The Galaxy Buds outperform these in every aspect. Sound quality, bass, staying in your ear, the case holds a backup charge. Honestly so disappointed in these after all the hype.

Rumors are lossless audio for the newer AirPods. Kinda silly with in-ear wireless headphones that aren't known for great sound quality anyway.

I much prefer the 3rd gen AirPods. Having a piece going into your ear canal isn't nearly as comfortable when wearing for an extended period of time. I also find them slowly getting loose and eventually fall out no matter what size inserts I choose. Noise cancellation is nice, but it's mostly affective for droning sounds and won't block out most of the noise anyway. You can get ear hooks with inserts attached to help block out more noise for the 3rd gen.

3rd gen AirPods also has longer battery life and uses skin detect vs optical detect. That means if you don't have the case on you and you want to put them in your pocket it won't think it's in your ear and start auto playing. Had that happen many times before.

Renegade is actually correct and he got voted right out of here lol.

I own every Galaxy Bud and every Apple Earpod/Airpod. The Airpod Pro are very flat sounding, they do not make music fun to listen too. They are great for podcast, Youtube and talking on the phone. For music they are boring.

Galaxy Buds are fun to listen too. They make music exciting and energetic. I currently like the Buds 2 over the Buds Pro.

I bought the 3rd gen AirPods and I think I'm on the opposite side of the fence. Jury is still out though.

They connect much quicker than any other earbud I've tried, so they are great for calls. I keep the case sitting on my desk and can grab one bud when I get a call and without fail, it will answer the call properly.

Beyond that, I don't love these. They don't fit me nearly as well as the wired version. So they fall out of I am doing anything physical. It really annoys me when they fall out when I'm mowing the lawn. They fall into my ear protection which would be fine if they kept playing, but as soon as they fall out the turn off. It's mildly infuriating.

My buddy swears by the Sonys, I may give those a try if these AirPods don't grow on me.

Why? Is there a longer warranty or something? Is return policy any better than Amazon prime?
