Ryobi Expand-It 475 cfm universal attachment leaf blower. Will fit most universal attachment battery and non battery power heads. The reviews for it on youtube seem good. Total savings are calculated at 67% on the site.
Might be a decent deal. I own like 20+ ryobi tools but the expand it line isn't going anywhere. No hard feelings thank you for the effort.
No problem, I intend to use this on my 60v dewalt string trimmer power head.
Especially when compared to competing products like trimmer plus and even dewalts own line, this seems like a great deal and is less than one quarter the cost. I even took a look at the dewalt line of the same product, and it has less than half the cfm for 5 times the price.
Even the ryobi blower trimmer kit posted earlier are no where near the cfm this thing will put out, I think that blower is 1/3 the power of this tool.
I am not clear on the hate for expand-it, but I think its fine. In particular I have been waiting for the power sweeper to go on sale as that would work nicely with my dewalt.
Ugh, good deal! I think it would be a bit of a strain on the body holding this up, but its powerful. I already have a 18v stand alone blower and its like a feather, gets the job done though. I love the expand-it line up, but i trimmed my trees and bushes last month with the other expand-it accessories and can tell you, the 40v battery and motor housing, then add the weight of which ever attachment can fatigue you after trying to hold it up for so long. Even using the string trimmer on all my fence line and foundation can get me tiered.

I'm looking to get the Ryobi expand it string trimmer…are they really that bad? I saw the 15" brushless on there for a decent price and thought I'd bite. I'd like to get the edger attachment for it…

I have the Expand-It Trimmer and Edger. Trimmer works just like any other trimmer. The edger, I never used one before so I need to learn how to properly use it, but right now I have the cleanest looking lawn because of those two tools.
