Why are you even asking this question here when you're not going to buy without touchscreen which the Acer has and this doesn't?

Touchscreen isn't necessarily the only consideration and perhaps there are other factors/features I missed between the two. My main point was that around April Costco had i5 version of this HP Aero for 599. I had settled on this model but wanted i7 or Ryzen 7. I never saw the right priced deal til this. So appreciate ur post! I'm not too familiar with Acer but the Acer deal does seem solid

Looks like you have little idea about computers. Aero doesn't even have an Intel version. You literally saying that not being a touchscreen preventing you to buy this and then next post, completely different statement
