Even if that was an issue (which I never experienced) a simple fire stick, Roku, Apple TV, etc and bypass the tv, but then again you never were going to buy this and only here to post something ridiculous……..
What about WiFi?
Ideally, a device that doesn't move would be wired in. Especially one that can transfer a significant amount of data.
I understand that doesn't work for everyone though
LG's 55" Curved OLED debut at $10k almost 10 years ago...I got it at a significantly reduced price for the model a year later and it's still going strong and still has better PQ better than today's LCD tvs. Zero regrets because I've enjoyed it for 8 years now. I think this is a great deal for the best TV technology you can buy for an excellent size. Opportunity cost is your enemy. Buy and enjoy. Life is short.

Has LG fixed the issue about dropping wireless network that bedeviled the CX series? Pita!

Better question may be, why are you on wireless for a non-mobile device?

If no one buys then yes they'll keep getting discounted. Otherwise they get sold out and no more supply of these "older" model
