A lot of reviews on Amazon saying the lid warps from the heat from the sun and then doesn't seal/close correctly. Something to keep in mind, was skeptical when I saw this normally sells for over $100.

They're right. We just bought one from Cabela's a month or so ago around the same price, first time we took it out was a few weeks ago and the lid right at the middle was warped some so it wasn't getting a solid seal. It still held the ice pretty good but I think a few more uses and it might not be able to. I wish it had a latch or something to keep sealed.

Got from the Amazon deal, took it out for a day trip and only half day I found that the lid couldn't be closed properly. Already a replacement from Amazon and will give it another shot. Seems like a common issue and probably need to return it instead

Guess I'll have to pass, hopefully something better comes along in a similar price range
Igloo IMHO makes the best of the non-roto molded coolers. And while roto molded coolers are great, they are also typically extremely expensive, heavy, and small inside.
Rubbermaid is complete junk but I have never been a fan of Coleman either for serious multi day dry camping, I have seen and had my ice melt much quicker than others in the group. If you are hosting a BBQ I am sure this would be a great option.
Also, you cannot expect to come up with warm drinks and toss them in a cooler for it to be effective. Load it up, ice it down, drain it out, and re-ice. I always come home with ice even after 5 days.
Thanks for the heads up. I was considering this but will pass due to the warping issues. I can see by the lid design that closure issues would likely be a problem. Anyone have in decent alternative option to recommend?
