YMMV - appears to be *in store only*. One other store in my area was listed as clearance. There was probably 25 on front shelves of the store I was in.

Tagged as 160. Scanned with the HD app, and it said normal price of 299 in stock. Asked an associate to scan it in case tag was wrong, came up as 160. Checked out as 160. Clearance.

Does brickseek show it on clearance at your store? Coming up $299 all around me.

Yes it did show as clearance on Brickseek.

It also showed clearance in one other store. All the rest were 299.

The two clearance stores did not show any price other than "clearance" so I don't know if they were matched at the same price

Looks like Bakersfield is the closest for me with clearance, but a 2 hour drive.

Brickstink shows $299 all around me.

Does that site even work anymore for accurately showing price and stock?

Interesting. All the stores marked $299 match brickseek inventory, but the one marked "clearance" on brickseek shows none in store online

These things are massive!!

How often do you need a 12" slider?

I've got this saw, among maybe 10 other Ryobi tools. This is the one that feels most high quality. All pros, no cons.
The laser is super helpful and actually right on the money.
The bevel makes 45 edge cuts a breeze.
The turn table helps when you have to account for a non straight cut.
The sliding extension is a must for cutting anything wider than a 2x4.
It's got it all

As usual, no clearance around here. Plenty in stock for $300 though.

Pair this with a rigid rolling miter station for portability. Note the sliding bar extends really far back so you won't be able to put this very close to wall.

There's alot to like about this miter saw but if you're just someone looking to do some trim work you don't need a 12 inch miter saw. You're just taking up space in your garage/shop, buy a 7 inch one and make your life easier. On the flip side if you're wanting to get into serious wood working then buy something higher end. Buy once cry once.

I started on the 10 inch miter saw and ended up giving it away after a few years and upgraded. It would of saved me month to just buy the nice one right away.

Also this miter saw had an LED cut line and not a laser like another poster said. The LED cut line is far superior to a laser.

I picked this up from DTO on 5/28 for $130 with the Rigid rolling miter station for $160. Glad to know it's a great setup.

I'm not serious into woodwork but at those prices I couldn't pass up. Like you said, buy once cry once. DTO just sent me a shipping notification today.

Scanned the barcode with the Home Depot app showed none in store, only shipping, at 299 while I was standing in front of like 25 of them. Brickseek did show the correct inventory but no price (no idea how those two didn't match??)

That's why I asked an associate to scan it cause I figured it was just a mixed up tag but it scanned in their system as 160. Proof in original post.

---

And I'll echo what another poster said, this thing is huge. I have an old Harbor Freight or similar off brand hand-me-down from my pops that was literally 20 years old so this will be a massive upgrade.

A 12 in slider is enormous. I grabbed the 10 in slider from DTO for $90 back in early may so if you're not in a rush I'd consider waiting but then again they seem to be having backlog issues with getting items shipped out.
