Hi, I'm no expert in this thing. I've been doing a little research on the best full size cabinet arcade machines and this one seems to be a great option based on reviews I've seen. I've been waiting for some kind of deal for the last few weeks and will probably jump on this.
I was really hoping for the bare bones Legends Ultimate kit on discount or a free shipping promo would have sealed the deal for me but they throw in all these extras and then discount the whole bundle so I guess it's not a bad price.
I'm assuming the shipping will still be the standard $100, which kind of kills it. Really hoping for a surprise on the shipping cost when the deal goes live.
Deal starts on Thursday

I have both and the pinball. It runs the same for me. Too many games loaded on coinopsX will slow it down also if you use that. I have one I made with just all the games I really love and it runs great!
The advantages the ALU has is form factor like a real Arcade and built in speakers and screen, and to add a marque bitpixel for the coolness factor.
It has 2 player spinner controls. Normally if you add an external usb spinner to other legends devices then it is only one player.
And it has an OTG feature to connect other gaming devices with hdmi and sync your controls...
Cons: it is only a horizontal screen and cannot flip it vertically, very large so you need the space for it and might need a high riser; sometimes issues arise with ctr board and controls stop working and there is very slight audio lag in games. (But this later stuff is found with all legends arcade devices)
(I'd just stick to the gamer pro until something better comes or if this comes back for $500...Or build your own cabinet to perfection for maybe 3x the price if you can afford it.)

*Pinball Packs at a discount seems like a nice warm deal ($17.50 to $25), if you like this sort of thing.
I like the LGP - but I wouldn't give this much for a cabinet, unless you're really into the appearance/nostalgia end. If I was going to pay this, I'd rather pick up a wooden kit and some vinyl stickers and use my own controls. The cost might be the same, there'd be way more effort, but you'd get a much better end product.

Where did you see that Legends Pinball for $200. That is an insane deal!!
Grand Rapids, MI. The funny thing is that I was there 2 weeks prior and picked one up for $300. You'd think they'd sell out their stock at that price but they dropped it even further.
I was hoping to see a sale on the base legends pinball for maybe 599-650, but with 100$ shipping its cheaper for me to buy a sams club membership and snag one then 850$ shipped..
