The n30 pro2 was smaller-- I wish they would bring that back with the _2 triggers behind the _1 triggers instead of side-by-side, like they are doing with the lite > lite 2. Those n30's are perfect for smaller hands for games that need a pro-like controller.

Unless you're a purist about wanting the original SNES Controller shape, the Dualshock-style grips of the Pro 2 are much more comfortable, as are the trigger buttons.
I've still got an older NES30 Pro from a few years ago. Perfectly serviceable controller. But after getting the Pro 2, it's really only used for guests or backup.

However the dpad... the dpad, while the perfect size, gives unwanted diagonal inputs very very easily. I use it for my Linux emulator machine and I was unable to beat the Quickman stage in Megaman 2 as my character would constantly stop moving or not turn because the controller gave a down input. I looked it up and this is a common problem that was supposed to be improved in this iteration but I still got it
