Not quite the $449 Amazon deal from this morning but seems like a decent deal.

70" tvs for $450-$500. Wow.
I remember just a few years ago that I was looking at 70 inch TVs that were selling for $3,000-$4,000.

I genuinely hope that something similar happens with short-throw laser projectors.

I've heard about a lot of people having problems with audio and glitching on insignia brand TVs although, so maybe you get what you pay for.

And here I am remembering seeing the first 42" plasma screens at Best Buy retailing at $7,500.

Heck... I remember when I was first getting started in the electronic business.
The Sony KDL-VXBR1 40 inch (1,366x768) LCD TV for $4K !! It eventually was discounted to $3,499 and closed-out for an even $3K

Ah, I remember those 35" Mitsubishi behemoths.
My warehouse had a few old ones that came out of service from country clubs.
350 lb Monsters.
I recall one of them fell and it sounded as if a bomb had exploded.

If you're all into the Amazon ecosystem, then sure. Otherwise I couldn't stand the UI.

I settled on the TCL 4-series 70" with Android TV for the same price and have been very satisfied.

I have 65" Hitachi rear projection TV still works no complaints, no repairs done, ever. Who wants it for free?

You can always plug in the OS of your choice thru HDMI.

Indeed but back at that time it was a bunch of 27-inch "huge" CRT televisions and then 2-3 plasmas. I remember sitting and watching some golf match on one of those in the store just awestruck.
