This is hackable by the way. Trimmer and 8.0 comes down to $199 once you add a 5.0 to the cart separately.

Edit: Good deal as well because not every deal has a rapid charger these days.

I ordered the battery for pickup at different location. Do I just not go pick it up and they cancel it or can I cancel it another way after I pickup trimmer

I was able to cancel through the app after picking up the item I actually wanted. Same hack but more annoying for their employees unfortunately.

Did they change the listing to include the 5Ah with it so that it can't be hacked? Picture and listing shows both batteries in the package.

I think depends by store. I read here that if you don't take the pickup item the store will cancel it automatically after 7 days or after 15 days but.... In my case this spring they didn't cancel it even after 2 months Mad and requested me to return the 2nd part of the order to cancel it. In that 2 months few times (4-5 times) I requested them online in live chat to cancel the pickup item, but without success!

Looks like they made some changes to prevent hacking these deals. I now get the notification that both items need to have the same delivery method.

Quick-Lock attachments aside, anybody have experience with this compared to the old DeWalt 40V trimmer? i still have the 40V trimmer and it's an absolute beast... wondering if these new 18V even come close, i know the DeWalt 20V was a joke in comparison, i hear good things about the DeWalt 60V but no direct comparisons unfortunately.

I recently used the hackable deal and ordered a hedge trimmer and a blower. The shipping was free to my house. I then just took the batteries to the store and they returned fine. I'm assuming people who are trying to do this and not go in the store is because they don't have a store near them.
