Pretty good deal for UHD Steelbook. Best deal is to find a store that has it locally. Otherwise you have to pay for shipping. There is no digital copy if that's important for you.
This is for the steelbook. It also works out to be cheaper than the collection which is $115 / 8 movies = $14.375 / movie. Good to know that the 4k collection is on sale as well. Thanks!

Right, I enjoy a nice steelbook as much as the next person, in this case I just didn't see any of the other movies available. If you could get each of the other movies for this price that would be great. If you couldn't and had to grab a couple at $30 it wouldn't of course.

Yeah wow. I just looked into it and can't believe that they seem to be going for $25‐30 a piece. The collection seems like an even better deal now. On that note, I'm see the 8 movie collection on Amazon for $96

Yeah that's a decent deal, but I was able to grab it for $79.99 from Amazon Black Friday 2019. So if you can hold out for Black Friday or maybe Prime Day there are better deals for the complete set.

The collection goes on sale even cheaper from time to time. I believe i picked it up for around $80
not all the movies are truly worthy of 4K UHD over a cheaper blu-ray. unfortunately due to movie finishing methods of the time some UHDs are just upscales. This (and the 2nd movie) are the real deal though and excellent quality. this is a good buy individually.

Yes unfortunately none didn't get a good transfer and only last two were decent! ☹️
Keep in mind what a movie is shot in doesn't tell you how well it will look, the transfer will.
Those first two are a good example.
The last two are better transfers, yet as you pointed out they are upscaled.
How a movie is shot absolutely tells you how it will look, or at least gives you an indication. Every single movie shot on film has the potential to look great on 4K UHD (or at least exactly how the director wanted it to look) - unless they skimp on the effort to get it done right.
All these early digital films though, including movies shot on film, but moved to 2K digital intermediates for processing and digital effects, have a built-in ceiling for how good they can look in 4k - the data just isn't there. that is the case here for all but the first 2 movies - you may think they look pretty good, but they pale in comparison to what they would look like if inadvertent mistakes weren't made when they were finished at the time.

Well you just made my point, "has the potential" tells you nothing on how it turns out.
You mentioned many reasons why, like I mentioned how well they transfer the movie will determine how well it comes out.
From personally watching the first two and the last two, I agree with rtings the last two transfers are the better than the rest.
That's not saying they are great, just the better transfers of all 8 movies.

The 4k transfers of these movies are, to be polite, less than optimal. Less polite, they look like they just upsampled the 1080p brs and threw on some phony hdr grading. Money grab.
