Great price for Sony's own moderately fast wide angle prime for E-mount full frame cameras. Not the top of line f/1.4 GM, but definitely worth it at this price.

This is a $750 lens that's commonly on sale elsewhere for $650, but not $500...

International, but otherwise not sure why it's priced the way it is. Nothing indicates it to be used or factory damaged.

    I have the 85, so it's great to hear they're in the same league. I'm still waffling on the old 50/1.8... I've heard very meh things, but it's also so cheap.

    Yeah I don't understand what shenanigans are going on, but it's been on the US site wavering between $490 and $510 for a few days. I just got it in the mail today and it's definitely a brand new lens.

    For context (yes I know there's no time machine).

    I was able to get the warrantied US version of lens at $535 with an .edu address from adorama a year ago.

    Beautiful lens that pretty much lives on my camera.
