I agree, bought 3 just in case. Still spent less than half of the others.
If it was fake product selling for authentic price, I totally get it. However most of the time when I see comments like this, it is in a thread for something that sells for cheap garbage price to begin with...

Receiver only supports two transmitters, so I set up two transmitters outdoors, and use all the receivers indoors at different rooms to monitor front/ back yard temperature.
Work pretty well, distance is good and reading accurate.
In for more sets.
