With that said , I'm still kind of tempted to buy it again because I did like the light itself. Maybe I'll just super glue the crap out of it to its base.

Yes, I bought this the last time it was on sale and it comes with batteries and also can be used without the batteries in it at all, once it's charged. It's very bright on the high setting. Even low is pretty bright for use in outdoor settings with no lights nearby. If you select low or medium settings, the next time you turn it on, it defaults to that setting, which I love. I'm glad I purchased it, though I haven't used it as a headband, but clipped to my belt.

I owned one, the light it self was nice. The charging port is tucked underneath which helps the rain stay outzBright even on low setting and battery lasted pretty long. I used it daily for the 3 weeks or so I had it. One day I went to ride and noticed it was barely hanging on to its base and chalked it up to user error thinking maybe I didn't fully latch it back on, even though that's never been an issue with any of my other lights.. fast forward a few days later and on my way to work I pay attention to myself putting it on and clicking it in properly and when I left work I went to turn my light on and apparently it fell off at some point on my commute in
