Q600B (2022 model) is on sale for $399.99. Using EDU or EPP gives another $150 discount for a final price of $249.99. I've been in the market for an entry level Atmos bar that works with q symphony and I can also add rear wireless speakers down the road. The 2022 model supposedly now has eARC.
EPP is an employee partnership program available to employers that Samsung has an agreement with. It may also be available for EDU users which are students. I'd suggest checking to see on Samsung if you're eligible.

Is the only benefit that you bypass the TV for audio? I can use Spotify on the TV for W audio in the same quality.
Well, technically WIFI means that a ton of things can connect to it (think Smart Home and Wifi enabled Samsung TVs). The real magic comes in two forms: 1) Compatible Samsung TVs can connect wirelessly better than a Bluetooth connection 2) The soundbar and woofer show up as a device for things like Spotify Connect which is much simpler than the TV method you are describing as you can control from tablet or phone. I feel like these are perhaps advanced use cases and most people might be OK with the no wifi limitation. I think me and the other poster were just calling it out.

Understood, just wanted to make sure I didn't miss another use case. I completely agree that wifi may be more convenient for streaming but it's not an issue for me personally and not something I would want to pay more for. As for the wifi vs Bluetooth connection to TV, for q symphony you have to use HDMI connection anyway.
