What is a chai?
The name "chai" is actually the Hindi word for "tea", which was derived from "cha", the Chinese word for "tea". In this case, the Hindi term chai means a mix of spices steeped into a tea-like beverage. Recipes for chai vary across continents, cultures, towns and families.

FYI: When anyone says "chai" I think tea with spices and not just tea.

Tea is called "Cha" in Chinese. The reference here is from Hindi Language (India) where Tea is called "Chai". But yes your point is valid.

I make my chai with Vital Tea bags... 125 bags for $2.99 from my local Pakistani / Indian store. No sugar, just tea and milk or half-n-half. This would have been a great offer had it not contained 31 grams of sugar per serving!

Actually, "chai" or 踩 means "step on" in Chinese. So this is tea that's been dropped on the floor and trampled in Oregon.

Very tempting, but given the condition of goods I have been receiving from Amazon the last few years, I think it is probably to avoid ingesting anything from their warehouses.

Yet this is half price and not double. We are blessed.
